The first edition of Non-Relativistic Quantum Mechanics: An Introduction by R. M. Sillitto was published by Edinburgh University Press in 1960 - the first of their textbooks to make a profit.  A second, enlarged, edition appeared in 1967.  

The book, including dust cover, was designed by George Mackie, now recognised as a leader in this field.
