A little house on Blackford Hill

A little house on Blackford Hill

back to the story of the house
The first 6 pictures below were taken by a Glasgow Herald photographer in 1964. Two of them were used to illustrate an article about the house by our friend Dennis White. His son and his dog are seen in some of them, as are our son and our dog, Lassie.

Lassie's paw-print appears in our visitors book, where the first messages, from our housewarming, were:

Blessings on this house (Katrina Dawson)

and all who sail in her (Nansie Blackie)

May it be transparently a home (Jim Jardine - who gave us a splendid chamois to clean the windows)
